About These Terms

This website is operated by Schmit’s Cards (ABN 50 520 807 909), based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. By browsing this site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.

Our Products

We sell NRL trading cards and related collectables. Most items are single, one-of-a-kind stock, so a card can sell out while it’s in your cart or between visits.

We describe every card as accurately as we can and photograph the actual item where possible. Screens vary, so slight differences in colour or gloss can appear. If anything about a card isn’t what you expected, contact us before or after buying and we’ll help.

Pricing & GST

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). Schmit’s Cards is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged on your order and our prices are GST-free.

We try to keep pricing accurate, but if a card is listed at an obviously wrong price due to a typo or system error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at the incorrect price. We’ll always let you know if that happens.

Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order you’re making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once we confirm it and dispatch your card. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, mispriced, or if we suspect fraud. Where we cancel an order you’ve paid for, you’ll receive a full refund to your original payment method.

Payment

Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number. Your order is confirmed once payment clears.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping rates, dispatch times, and how we pack are set out in our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery times are guides only and we’re not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or couriers once an order has been dispatched.

Returns & Your Consumer Rights

Our returns and refunds process is set out in our Returns Policy.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under that law. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. These rights apply on top of, not instead of, anything stated in our Returns Policy.

Your Account

If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Keep your details accurate and let us know if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.

Intellectual Property

The design, text, logos, and original photography on this site belong to Schmit’s Cards. NRL, club, and player names and logos remain the property of their respective owners and appear here only to identify the cards we sell. Please don’t copy, scrape, or reuse our content without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your Australian Consumer Law rights, Schmit’s Cards isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or our products. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Queensland.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest version, and the terms in force at the time you order are the ones that apply to that order.
