What’s in the Base Set
The 2026 League Heroes base set is 269 cards, covering all 17 NRL clubs and all 12 NRLW clubs. The base cards are the most common pull and the foundation of the whole product. A complete base set is the goal most collectors set out to reach first, and it’s a genuine achievement when you get there.
Every base card is printed on thick artboard with the player, club and card number on it. The women’s game sits in the same set as the men’s, following the same numbering and the same checklist structure, rather than being split into a separate product.
How the Numbering Works
Each card has a unique number printed on the back. That number is the card’s identity. It matches the official checklist exactly, so a base card is always the same card no matter where you find it. When you’re completing a set, the number on the back is the only thing you need to confirm what a card is and whether you already own it.
